Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at academyofmp207@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Enrollment typically includes speaking with an admissions advisor, completing an application, and selecting a program and start date. Specific steps may vary by program. The first step is reaching out to AMP, which can be done on the Contact Us page.

No. Most AMP programs are built for beginners and start with foundational knowledge before moving into clinical skills.

Your tuition includes everything you need to complete your training and prepare for certification—textbooks shipped directly to you, national certification exam fees, practice exams, online live and/or self-paced classes, accelerated program options, and in-person clinical skill labs for CMA, Phlebotomy, and Dental Assisting.

AMP offers payment plans and may accept certain workforce or state funding programs (like WIOA). Contact admissions to see what options you qualify for — payment details are separate from what tuition includes.

AMP has multiple start dates throughout the year for programs like Clinical Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, and Dental Assisting, with both online and in-person options. Exact dates are listed on the Class Schedule page.

In-person labs are held at approved partner sites depending on the program and region. Students receive lab location details during enrollment.

AMP understands that adult learners have different needs. Students are encouraged to reach out for academic support if they’re struggling with coursework or exam prep.

After completing your program and passing your certification exams, you’ll be coached in resume preparation, and then you'll enter the healthcare workforce with nationally recognized credentials — many students go on to work in clinics, labs, dental offices, and other healthcare settings. (General expectation based on typical certification outcomes.)

While AMP does not guarantee job placement, programs are designed to prepare students with industry-ready skills that employers expect. Many students secure employment shortly after certification.
